Depart via private plane from Los Angeles, CA to San Francisco.

Golden Gate Bridge and Park
Welcome to San Francisco, the city by the bay. Golden Gate Park, the third most visited park in the United States, is home to many popular sights which include the Japanese Tea Gardens, California Academy of Sciences, Golden Gate Carousel and the Golden Gate Park Windmills and tulip gardens which were originally built in 1903. The serenity of the park is complimented by an array of gardens, lakes, art and various forms of wildlife which have been calling this location home since the 1860’s.
A West Coast trip to San Francisco would not be complete without a visit to one of the world’s most famous bridges and iconic landmarks: the Golden Gate Bridge. Originally deemed as the “Bridge That Could Not Be Built,” the Golden Gate is the largest suspension bridge of its kind. Originally completed in 1937 at a cost of $35 million, the bridge is a whopping 8,980 feet and “bridges” the gap over the San Francisco Bay.

San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf
There’s a bit of something for everyone when you enjoy some free time and discover your inner child at the famed San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf. Savor some of the freshly caught Dungeness crabs for lunch, take in the artistic talents of the famed street performers, grab a snapshot of the world famous cable cars which have been operating since 1873, or make new friends with the Wharf’s most popular attraction, the Sea Lions of Pier 39.

Bridge to Bridge Boat Tour
Get ready to set sail under two of San Francisco’s most celebrated bridges: the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge and the colossal Bay Bridge, which links San Francisco with Oakland and the rest of the East Bay. Have your cameras ready as you will get unparalleled views from right underneath the bridges, as well as views of Alcatraz Island, Treasure Island, and AT&T Park, the home of the famed San Francisco Giants. Also enjoy the spectacular sights of other cityscape landmarks including the Coit Tower, Transamerica Pyramid and the historic San Francisco Ferry Building.

San Francisco City Sightseeing Tour
It’s time to sit back, relax and learn about the unique history that helped shape the city by the bay, from its early maritime and gold rush history and rebuilding efforts after the great earthquake of 1906 to the summer of love and hippie movement of the 1960’s and 70’s. As you tour one of California's most popular cities, you will also experience the sights and sounds of such popular areas as San Francisco’s famed Chinatown district and one of the most photographed street blocks in the city, Lombard Street, which boasts 8 dramatic hairpin curves in a one block radius.

Day 2: San Francisco, Muir Woods, Sonoma Valley, California

We have a full day of sightseeing ahead of us so enjoy your hearty breakfast at the hotel before we head out and sample some new destinations and experiences.

Muir Woods
Here is your question of the day: What are the tallest living things on earth? If you happened to guess giraffes, then you’re incorrect as these animals are dwarfed in size by California’s majestic coastal redwood trees. The fir-fringed forest and creeks of Muir Woods National Monument provide the perfect backdrop for the numerous mammoth 1,000 year old trees including the tallest, which stands 254 feet (77 meters) high. Walking amongst these giants is truly an unforgettable experience, to which more than 1 ½ million people to date can attest.

Wine Tasting and Tour at Local Vineyard
It’s time to smell, sip, and smile as we head to a place where more than 370 award-winning wineries converge: the Sonoma Wine Country of California. Down home hospitality resonates from small family run wineries to internationally heralded wine houses so it’s only appropriate to summon your inner sommelier as we visit the Sebastiani Vineyard and Winery. With over a century of wine-making experience, and an 80-foot tasting room bar, you will thoroughly enjoy sampling some of the best premium wines from the region.

Day 4: Yosemite National Park

Good Morning, AirCruisers! It’s time to enjoy breakfast at the hotel before our exciting experiences continue.

Yosemite National Park Guided Experience
Welcome, Mauivans, to the gem of the American Wilderness: Yosemite National Park. First established as a national park in 1890, Yosemite draws over 4 million annual visitors. Almost 95% of the park’s 747,956 acres is still considered wilderness (which equates roughly to the size of the state of Rhode Island). There is no lack of things to see in Yosemite, as it’s home to El Capitan, the world’s tallest granite monolith and one of the world’s top rock climbing destinations, as well as Yosemite Falls, the grandest and largest waterfall in North America, among numerous other breathtaking sights.

Mariposa Grove, Grizzly Giant
Mariposa Grove is, by far, the largest sequoia grove in Yosemite and home to hundreds of mammoth trees, many clocking in at more than 3,000 years old. One of the grand patriarchs of Yosemite and Mariposa Grove is the 2,700 year old Grizzly Giant. At over 30 feet in diameter at the base and more than 90 feet in circumference, the Grizzly Giant has a single limb a hundred feet up that's bigger around by itself than the trunk of nearly any other species of tree.

Also featured in the area is The Fallen Monarch, a massive, dead sequoia that’s a bigger legend now than it ever was alive - making it, some say, the Elvis of trees. Unlike the King, though, the Monarch remains available for viewing on the spot where it fell, and hundreds of people each day are photographed in front of its upturned base, which reaches some 15 feet across. The keepers of Graceland would probably get arrested if they allowed this sort of access.

If Lady Luck is accompanying you on this trip, perhaps some fast-paced casino action is in order as the Las Vegas strip is adorned with numerous resort style casinos. Or perhaps catch a breathtaking view of the majestic Bellagio fountains, or indulge in the excitement of the erupting volcano at the Mirage. You can even venture to the top of the Eifel Tower at Paris for a light snack or lunch if you wish. Regardless of your desire, it’s all yours for the taking here in the City of Lights. Grand Canyon
The road to the Grand Canyon from the crosses a gently rising plateau that gives no hint at what is about to unfold. You wonder if your bus driver has made a wrong turn. All at once an immense gorge a mile deep and up to 18 miles wide opens up. The scale is so vast that even from the best vantage point only a fraction of the canyon's 277 miles can be seen. So many feet have stepped cautiously to the edge of major overlooks that in places the rock has been polished smooth. Welcome to the grandest of the grand, a unique combination of geologic color and vast erosional forms which decorate a canyon that nearly 5 million people visit each year. Day 7:  Las Vegas, Nevada – Los Angeles, California
West Coast Tour: Las Vegas

Day 7: Las Vegas, Nevada - Los Angeles, California

Time to put a little “viva” into your Las Vegas by enjoying a hearty breakfast at leisure at your hotel.

Las Vegas Day of Leisure
It’s our last day in Vegas and, as they say, all good things must eventually come to an end. It’s your day, so be sure to end your AirCruise in style! In need of some ideas? Here are a few to get you on your way.

1. Make like an Egyptian! – The Venetian, which recreates the city of canals in the desert, may be the world's largest hotel but the Egyptian vibe evoked by the glass pyramid of the Luxor is more suited to the topography. Lounge around the pool like Egyptian royalty and watch the barges of people float by while you sip from the nectar of the gods. At night, relish at the sight of the high-intensity lights that shoot from its top which can even be seen from space!

2. Say I do! - Weddings are big business in Las Vegas and the classic place for lightning-quick, starry hitching is the Little White Wedding Chapel, where Frank Sinatra married Mia Farrow. The tackiest, and a favorite with Elvis impersonators, is the Viva Las Vegas Chapel.

3. Roam around the Mall! - Take a spin around the Forum Shops which is located at Caesars Palace, where, if the faux Roman vibe doesn't defeat you, the legions of medium- and high-end designer outlets will. Of course there is always the Fashion Show Mall, whose one billion dollar Cloud, an amazing image projection screen hovering over the centre, provides entertainment enough when the money runs out.

4. Follow the screams into the Stratosphere! - A very different ride is in store if you go north along the Boulevard to the tower where the shrieks are coming from. Stratosphere, the tallest building in Nevada, has at its summit a trio of thrill rides: Big Shot, X Scream and Insanity: the Ride, all of which are as white-knuckle as they sound.
